Tracing
of Debtors and RTA 3 rd Parties
Corporate and Legal Investigations supplies tracing
services to the legal profession, insurance industry, finance sector
and commerce in general. Corporate and Legal Investigations has
become a forerunner in the field of tracing and investigations by
creating new concepts and constantly introducing new technology.
We however, continue to maintain our ‘old fashioned’
concepts of reliability, honesty and integrity.
Many people choose to "disappear" to either avoid meeting
their creditors, or simply to escape.
Corporate
and legal are specialists in the tracing of debtors and those that
go 'missing'.
Many Clients employ our services initially for the tracing of a
potential defendant, debtor or debtor company.
We operate two substantial trace departments employing 6 full time
investigators; all of whom are extremely experienced in the preparation
of trace, pre-sue reports and fraud investigations.
Our successes are attained by cross-referencing databases that we
have developed. These are without doubt the most advanced in the
field and combined with pro-active telephone investigation and our
field investigators, we are able to maintain higher success rates
than many of our competitors.
Most trace enquiries can be taken on based around a 'no success,
no fee' premise and our based on the following
1. Volumes of instructions per
2. Quality of information provided
3. Age of instructions
4. Our success rate
5. Turn around times required
(standard) 28 days and 48 hours (express)
However some clients would prefer us to pursue all possible avenues,
rather than working on a 'no success, no fee'.
It is, therefore, preferable to set budgets prior to a case although
we are quite happy to work in either format.
Our senior investigators are usually charged out at £45 per
hour depending on the level of expertise required budgets usually
vary from £100.00 to £3000.00 according to the complexity
of a case, size of claim, information available etc.
At the same time we are able to provide very comprehensive in depth
status reports, which will assist you in deciding whether it is
worth proceeding with a claim. Should your claim be successful,
it will give you a good indication of where any assets may lie and
how to proceed.
This can be a useful tool when negotiating settlements. All information
is confirmed by two independent sources and we will provide a supporting
audit trail detailing the method used to confirm the trace. All
methods comply with the Data Protection act 1998 and Criminal Justice
Act.
